This is For You, Emma♡, Thank you for the advice! Yes, I meant the gliders bonding. But it helps to know that three months isn’t really a long time for him to learn to trust me! I guess that means we’re making good progress! lol I did a thorough investigation of his tummy - no pom. So either neutered male and they took the pom… or female. I’m pretty sure he’s a she though, I think I see a pouch. Hard to tell because s/he won’t stop wiggling lol. Thanks again! I’m getting really excited to find him/her a friend!

A pouch is just a vertical slit where you’d think a belly button would be. You could try rubbing his/her tummy until it starts to fall asleep. Then you can probably get a better view:) If you take the glider to the vet, they can tell you for sure. They can also take a stool sample to check for infections and such that you wouldn’t want affecting your new glider. The same goes for the new glider. A quarantine is necessary to keep from having two sick gliders on your hands instead of one (even though it is REALLY hard to wait!).

We’re currently bonding Pascal to Maddie and Emma. Maddie and Pascal have no problems, but Emma and Pascal fight and seem to hate each other. Every glider is different and has their own schedule for trusting other gliders and humans. Don’t get discouraged if you hit some bumps:)

Have you found a vet yet? I’m really glad you’re pairing up:) I’m happy to help! :)
